Direct measurement

Measure your autonomic nervous system

A wearable-based session that independently measures sympathetic and parasympathetic function, revealing regulation that blood tests and imaging do not show.

Independent readout of each branch, tracked over time

Most clinics infer autonomic involvement. We measure it.

Standard labs look for structural problems. The ANS Test measures regulation directly, down to each branch, quantifying three things even when standard labs are normal:

Baseline parasympathetic & sympathetic tone and balance

Where each branch sits at rest, and how the two balance.

Autonomic dynamicity and autonomic resistance

How the system shifts under challenge, and the blunted or paradoxical responses that mark dysfunction.

Parasympathetic regulatory function and autonomic responses

How strongly rest-and-digest can engage, and how the system responds.

Together these turn “probably autonomic” into a measurable profile you can target and re-test over time.

Branch-level spectral separation

A pattern standard labs never see

The test runs a six-phase challenge, baseline, deep breathing, recovery, Valsalva, recovery, and standing, and shows how each branch responds at every step.

Why you can trust it

The clinical standard, brought home

The ANS Test runs the autonomic challenge protocol used in clinics since 2006, under a device first FDA-cleared in 1995. That clinical reference device has been used with more than one million patients over two decades. Our measurement is modeled on it, our CAJAL model is trained on an exclusive dataset built with it, and our CMO led the clinical efficacy work behind it before its 2006 launch.

Our at-home delivery is not itself FDA-cleared, is not a medical device, and does not diagnose. Clinical decisions remain with your clinician.

Defined by symptoms, not labels

For people whose tests look normal

  • Fatigue despite normal sleep and labs
  • Dizziness or racing heart on standing
  • Exercise intolerance and post-exertional malaise
  • Digestive issues without a structural cause
  • Temperature dysregulation
  • Anxiety with strong physical sensations

Three steps to objective insight

Open the app

Patients take the test on the Autonomic Health Connect app, or inside the customer’s own app where it is embedded via the SDK. Same experience either way.

Connect your device

Securely connect a compatible wearable (e.g., Garmin, WHOOP, Polar).

Complete the session and get results

Perform the 12-minute autonomic challenge protocol and receive a clear autonomic profile with trend tracking.

CloudANS™ works with data from any compatible consumer wearable and applies Autonomic Health’s proprietary respiratory-independent ANS algorithm. CloudANS™ and the at-home session are not FDA-cleared.

For clinicians

Order the ANS Test for patients who need more information, and track their autonomic regulation over time.
